I am Jordan Fucking Taylor is my version of a self portrait. I created a creature that embodies who I am, using distinct patterns to represent facets of my inner self. I want to provide the viewer with the opportunity to look within themselves and envision their own visual representation, delving deeper into who they are as a person. We are so much more than our likes and dislikes, simple descriptive adjectives, or our careers. My creature goes beyond these externalities and represents an in-depth analysis of myself. As humans, we find ourselves on this lifelong journey of self discovery that is constantly adapting and changing. When we stop and think deeply about who we are, we can learn our true intentions, goals or desires that could lead to a new, more authentic path that accurately represents your inner truth. By thinking visually and conceptually, we can expand our minds to reach an honest representation of ourselves.
